Cathy Qu, a co-founder of OWA and junior at Millburn High School in NJ, has been actively involved in developing and organizing events for the NJ Branch.
Currently, she is preparing for OneWorldAnchor's 2nd Student Research Competition, which aims to showcase students' research creativity and achievements while developing essential science communication skills. Registration is now open, and details can be found here.
As an interviewer of STEM professionals, Cathy has facilitated a range of talks on topics such as cutting-edge research on AI and games, community ecology, public health, and career advice from industry professionals. Recordings of these talks can be viewed on our Youtube Channel, and more exciting talks are scheduled in the upcoming months.
Moreover, Cathy has been instrumental in enabling the NJ Branch to provide tutoring services to various disadvantaged groups, including children with autism.
