How many hours can I earn?

You can earn service hours via tutoring, offering online lessons or helping on some administrative work. All our volunteers have to go through our online training and get approved by us before they can interact with any students, and all online lessons and tutoring sessions have to be approved by us ahead of time for the service hours to be counted. For details please contact your OneWorldAnchor supervisor. 

 

How can I record my hours of service?

Once your service is approved we will send you a link to our online hour log system so you can record your service hours. Your supervisor will check on the log regularly and sign them.

How can I request an official OneWorldAnchor service hours letter?

Contact us at OneWorldAnchor@gmail.com with subject "Service Hour Certificate" and your volunteer hours. We will cross check them with our records and provide you with a service hour verification letter with your name, number of hours and a signature. We can also sign the forms you provide or help verify your hours through 3rd party website. ​

 

What is the President’s Volunteer Service Award?

The President's Volunteer Service Award is an opportunity to honor our most outstanding volunteers and recognize the impact they make. Recipients can receive an official lapel pin, personalized certificate of achievement, and a congratulatory letter from the president of the United States. More info on their website.

 

OneWorldAnchor is a certifying organization for these awards. We will contact volunteers who meets the hours requirement every June and order the awards for you.
